Support for your child’s health and success

Your child’s school district has teamed up with Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), and you are now eligible to participate in the Healthy School Program.

This program works with your school district to support your child and family’s health and wellness by addressing physical, emotional and social needs. Our goal is for your child to stay healthy and active so they can succeed in school.

How this program benefits you

If you’re an IEHP member, we can support you and your child by:

  • Setting up appointments for physical health, mental health and vaccines.
  • Connecting you to community resources for food, clothing and other needs.
  • Helping you learn how your child’s mental and physical health impacts their success in school.
  • Offering resources through our Community Wellness Centers.

How it works

An IEHP health navigator or community health worker meets with you wherever you feel comfortable. They then share how the Healthy School Program can support your student and family's needs. Once you learn about the program, all you need to do is accept the support. You can opt in or out of the program at any time.

Students and families who are IEHP members (Medi-Cal or Covered California) and go to a partnering school district can visit the school’s front office or ask school staff to get started.
