Health and wellness are up to bat at the 2026 Grand Slam Health Jam set for Sept. 5, hosted by Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) and the Ontario Tower Buzzers at ONT Field, home of the minor league Dodgers affiliate.
The unique event begins at 4:30 p.m. and blends healthcare resources, entertainment and community spirit. Game ticketholders will have access to free basic vitals checks, health education activities, fun giveaways, plus a few exciting surprises.
“Our Health Jam is the perfect opportunity to celebrate what makes the region so special: our community,” said IEHP Community Wellness Centers Director Delia Orosco. “We are excited to collaborate with the Tower Buzzers to create a fun, learning experience for all.”
The Grand Slam Health Jam coincides with the Buzzers’ second-to-last game of their inaugural season as they face the neighboring Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. First pitch follows at 6:05 p.m.
In addition to health resources, guests can cruise into the ballpark for Lowrider and Dedications Night, celebrating lowrider culture and a soundtrack that will transport guests to the golden age of oldies.
“We are thrilled to partner with IEHP, a trusted healthcare leader in the region for nearly three decades,” said Buzzers Partnership Manager Rory Niewenhous. “By educating the public on the importance of annual checkups and staying healthy, we hope it will lead to creating more lasting memories right here at the ballpark.”
Tickets to the game are available online at www.milb.com/ontario/tickets/promotions or in person at the Buzzers’ Box Office at ONT Field, 9375 E. Riverside Drive, Ontario.
