Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) received JD Power certification for outstanding customer service experience for phone support for the second year in a row.
IEHP used feedback from its members and JD Power during the 2025 certification process to strengthen its position for another year of recognition. This helped the health plan identify service gaps and explore new ways to support and improve existing processes.
“This recognition is an example of why feedback matters and how we utilize it to continuously set the benchmark for others to adopt similar practice where the customer – or members in our case – continue to serve as the center of its universe,” said IEHP Chief Operating Officer Susie White. “Our success is entirely a team effort, one that is focused on attainable high standards that guide our mission forward.”
JD Power has been the voice of the customer-service experience for five decades, earning a reputation as a global leader in consumer insights, data and analytics across the country.
For 2026, IEHP exceeded the JD Power operational best practice standards of excellence following an extensive auditing process that looked at IEHP’s entire operations, organizational strategy and guiding principles, such as team culture and engagement.
“We want to make sure we are a call center that anyone looking into our operations can know that we execute at the highest levels,” said IEHP Vice President of Member Experience Remington Paul. “This certification gave us the opportunity to implement ways to better our operations — that’s the power of JD Power.”
IEHP’s member services team, comprising more than 500 team members, responds to thousands of calls each day across all the health plan’s three lines of business.
