Time for Change Foundation (TCF) awarded Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) Director of Strategic Provider Partnerships Marci Coffey with its 2026 Ramos Family Spirit of Compassion Award at the nonprofit’s 24th annual awards gala on April 24.
The award recognizes an individual or organization responsible for changing the dynamic of communities through acts of service. Time for Change selected Coffey for her work in creating spaces where people feel seen, supported and understood.
“I am truly honored to receive this recognition from Time for Change Foundation. Their mission inspires me, and this award reminds me how important it is to continue showing up for our community,” said Coffey. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve and to help create meaningful, lasting change alongside so many dedicated partners.”
For over 20 years, Coffey has advanced IEHP’s strategic mission by leading community-driven initiatives that strengthen partnerships across the Inland Empire. Her efforts support the health plan’s commitment to creating healthier communities through opportunity and education.
In addition, Coffey oversees IEHP’s Healthcare Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to area medical students who pledge to practice in the IE after graduation.
“Marci Coffey embodies everything the award stands for—and then some,” said Foundation Executive Director Vanessa Perez Trang. “We have had the privilege of witnessing Marci’s dedication up close. She doesn’t just talk about community; she lives it. Marci gives her time, her energy, and her heart without hesitation. That is the spirit of compassion this award was created to recognize, and we are honored to celebrate her.”
