Inland Empire Health Plan receives 4-star NCQA Medicaid plan rating

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) awarded Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) an overall rating of 4 out of 5 for Medicaid Health Plan Ratings 2026, marking the second time the local health plan has achieved the rating. 

IEHP was evaluated across numerous unique measures and credits three core drivers for this achievement: robust provider support, meaningful member engagement and strong internal operations. 

“This achievement comes at an exciting time as IEHP celebrates 30 years as the Inland Empire’s trusted local health plan,” said IEHP Chief Executive Officer Jarrod McNaughton. “Maintaining this high standard requires the dedication of our entire team, alongside providers and community organizations working together. We remain committed to providing our community with high-quality, equitable and accessible healthcare.”

NCQA is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of healthcare organizations and recognizes clinicians in key clinical areas. NCQA’s HEDIS® is the most widely used performance measurement tool in healthcare.
