Scammers are reaching out to Medi-Cal members asking for a fee to apply for or renew their coverage. Do not send any form of payment to them. Medi-Cal won’t ask for any money in an application or renewal process.

Your county will mail you a letter or yellow envelope about your Medi-Cal eligibility. The letter will tell you if your Medi-Cal coverage was renewed automatically.
You’ll need to complete the packet and return it right away by mail or in-person to your Medi-Cal office. Or fill it out online at benefitscal.com.

You’ll get a letter from the county once your documents have been reviewed. Keep checking your mail every day. The county may ask you for more information to see if you qualify.

You may be able to get health coverage through Covered California. The county office will send you info about how to sign up.
