Virtual care made simple

If you’re feeling unwell and want quick access to care, use telehealth. Telehealth connects you to a provider via phone or video call — saving you a trip to the doctor’s office. If you want to use telehealth, here’s what to do:

• Check in with your primary care provider (PCP) to find out if they offer virtual care.
• If your PCP doesn’t offer virtual care, or you’re unable to get a timely appointment, IEHP provides MD Live as an option.
• If your child is a K-12 student, they might be eligible for Hazel Health. Check if Hazel is offered in your school district.

If you’re not sure about the right care option for you, you can call the IEHP 24-Hour Nurse Advice Line at 1-888-244-IEHP (4347) for help. TTY users can call 711.

Need a private space or stable Wi-Fi for a telehealth visit? Great news! You can now virtually meet with your doctor or MD Live provider in a private room at our Community Wellness Centers. You don’t need a reservation, but it’s a good idea to make one.

• Riverside: Open Fridays. Call 1-866-228-4347, opt. 3 to book your room.
• San Bernardino: Open Mondays and Tuesdays, starting Nov. 1. Call 1-866-228-4347, opt. 4 to book your room.
• Victorville: Open Wednesdays and Fridays. Call 1-866-228-4347, opt. 5 to book your room.
