Digital Tools for a Healthier You

Do you want to feel more confident using your phone, tablet or computer to take care of your health care needs? IEHP now offers free Digital Health Literacy classes to help you take charge of your health online, one click at a time.

What is digital health literacy?

It’s the ability to use technology, like health apps, websites and video calls, to access health care, information and tools.  With this technical skill, you can:

  • Check your test results online.
  • Make appointments with your doctor without calling.
  • Visit your doctor virtually using your phone or computer.
  • Refill prescriptions from your phone.
  • Send secure messages to your doctor’s office.
  • And much more.

Why take this class?

There are many different digital tools that can help you in your health journey. Learning these tools can save you time, give you easier access to your care team, and help you make informed decisions about your health.
